DOTWAV is a 6 piece hip hop band with a punk ideology. Combining rappers, guitarists, vocalists, a drummer, and a DJ/ keyboardist, they experiment with sounds ranging from R&B to alternative rock with smooth transitions. Lyrically inspired by their individual perspectives, each artist brings their own genre to the table. Songs examine topics of love, upward mobility, autonomy, drugs, sexuality, and mental health. All music is produced, recorded, mixed, and mastered by DOTWAV. We are going to make a sub-genre of hip hop and give a voice to North Carolina's youth. Your ears will thank you.
